AdBlue Additive
AdBlue is a mixture of urea and deionised water that’s stored in a separate tank in a diesel vehicle. Most modern diesel engines used in Ireland today, require the use of AdBlue additive to help reduce exhaust emissions and improve air quality. Oil Tank Regulations
Single skin fuel tanks and oil tanks are therefore completely unsuitable for installation at any farm, commercial, industrial and institutional installations. In some instances, installing or using a single skin fuel or oil tank where a bunded tank is legally required is a criminal offense.
